Robert Rozhdestvensky (1932-1994) is a poet, translator, author of the texts of many famous songs, including those for movies and TV films. His co-authors were Mark Fradkin, David Tukhmanov, Mikael Tariverdiev, Alexandra Pakhmutova, Yan Frenkel, Maxim Dunaevsky, Vladimir Shainsky, Raymond Pauls, Boris Mokrousov, Evgeny Doga, Tikhon Khrennikov, Evgeny Krylatov, Alexander Zhurbin and other composers.
The poems by Robert Rozhdestvensky are distinguished by unexpected, fresh and memorable rhymes, special sonority and ardent sincerity. His main character had always been a thinking and sensitive person - a deeply caring person.
