From June 29 to July 14, live broadcasts of the UEFA EURO 2024 round of 16 and finals will be shown on the big screen at VEF Quarter, located at Ūnijas Street 8K7 in Riga. Admission is free, and the area opens one hour before the matches.
The 2024 European Football Championship, or Euro 2024, is the 17th European Championship organized by UEFA. It takes place from June 14 to July 14, 2024, in Germany. The final tournament includes 24 national men's football teams. This is the third time Germany hosts the European Championship finals, with West Germany hosting in 1988 and Munich hosting four games in the 2020 championship. The matches will be played in 10 stadiums across 10 different cities, with the final set for Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
Starting from June 29, the round of 16 before the quarter-finals will feature sixteen teams:
- June 29 | 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM - round of 16
- June 30 | 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM - round of 16
- July 1 | 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM - round of 16
- July 2 | 10:00 PM - round of 16
- July 6 | 10:00 PM - Quarter-final No. 2
- July 9 | 10:00 PM - Semi-final No. 1
- July 10 | 10:00 PM - Semi-final No. 2
- July 14 | 10:00 PM - Final
The well-equipped VEF Promenade area will gather sports fans this season, providing live broadcasts of the most popular sports on a big screen. The area will feature the VEF bar, a street food zone, and various activities for both adults and children.
To ensure an environmentally friendly event, VEF Quarter bars will operate a deposit system.
Visitors are encouraged to follow the area's safety rules by leaving children's bicycles and scooters at home. Bringing food and drinks into the area will not be allowed. Please note that photos and videos will be taken during the event. Cars can be parked in the VEF Quarter area or at the TC Domina parking lot.
The live broadcasts at VEF Quarter will be provided by Tet TV+ and GO3.
ABOUT THE COUPON
Each coupon is valued at 5 EUR. One person can purchase up to 5 coupons in a single transaction. During the event, coupons can be exchanged for 2 glasses of VEF draft beer at the VEF Quarter bar (the price for 1 glass of beer is 3,50 EUR when purchased on-site).
Please note that a digital, printed, or printed voucher or ticket must be presented at the bar.
At VEF Promenade, a deposit glass system will be in operation. This means that you will need to pay 2 EUR for a glass at the bar, which can be refilled without additional payment or returned, receiving back 2 EUR.
