Italian sensation The Kolors for the first time in Latvia
On April 4, 2025, the Italian pop-rock sensation The Kolors will perform at the Palladium concert hall as part of their first European tour.
The performers of the superhits Italodisco (over 220 million streams, 5x platinum in Italy and 4x in Poland and 1x Platinum in Switzerland) and Un Ragazzo Una Ragazza (1x platinum in Italy) embark on such an ambitious tour for the first time, which will include both solo and festival performances in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Slovenia, Poland, Latvia and elsewhere.
The Kolors promises that in addition to the above mentioned, their other best-known hits such as Everytime, Frida (mai, mai, mai) and Pensare male from all 3 studio albums will be performed at the concert, which will be complemented by amazing light effects and pyrotechnics.
The band was formed in 2009 by cousins Antonio "Stash" (vocals, guitar) and Alex Fiordispino (drums), and Daniele Mona (synthesizers), who was later replaced by Dario Iaculli (bass). Initially honing their skills in a club in Milan and opened for Paolo Nutini, Hurts and Gossip, The Kolors gradually gained recognition and attracted the attention of producers Vichy Lombardo, Elio and Rocco Tanica, who helped making their first album “I Want” and single I Don't Give a Funk.
The wider attention came in 2015 when they clinched victory in "Amici," Italy's premier TV talent show. But the real breakthrough was the single Everytime from the second album "Out" (2015), which stayed on the 1st place of the Italian chart for 12 weeks in a row and got five times platinum status.
The third album "You" (2017) includes collaborations with other Italian artists, such as Gucci Mane on the single What Happened Last Night.
The band debuted at the Sanremo Festival in 2018 with their first Italian single, Frida (mai mai mai), which instantly entered active radio rotation.
In 2019, Pensare male (feat. Elodie) became the #1 Italian song on the Official Airplay Chart.
Their 2021 radio hit Cabriolet Panorama attained multi-platinum status.
However, the smash hit Italodisco, released in 2023, certified Platinum not only in Italy, but also in Switzerland and Poland, and charting across Europe, becomes a real sensation.
Un Ragazzo Una Ragazza, released in February 2024, continued its winning streak, once again achieving Platinum status.
With such musical baggage and craftsmanship, which has been honed for more than 15 years and supplemented with Italian expression, there is no doubt that the audience will receive not only a visually brilliant, but also a professionally high-quality show. See you on April 4 at the Palladium concert hall!
