One of the most influential bands in melodic death metal history – In Flames, will perform on June 3 at the Compensa Concert Hall in Vilnius! The evening will open with Unprocessed, representing the new wave of progressive music, and Jinjer, playing modern groove metal.
In Flames is an icon of melodic death metal, a band that not only stood the test of time but has continuously evolved to reflect both their artistic ambitions and the shifting trends in metal music. The group has been a forerunner in the metalcore subgenre, yet has also experimented with their sound over the years. The Swedes have headlined the world’s largest festivals multiple times, sharing the stage with giants like Slipknot, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Killswitch Engage, and Lamb of God. Their fourteenth studio album, Foregone, released in 2023, combines the best aggressive and melodic elements from their iconic albums, enriched with a mature, contemporary approach to music-making.
Known for their unique progressive groove metal sound, Jinjer defies every rule in the heavy metal book.
