It’s Jacob Collier, and on July 22, he’s bringing his electrifying live show to Xiaomi Arena in Riga, Latvia. Tickets go on sale March 7th at 10.00.
Get ready for the magic of Jacob Collier live in concert! A London-born prodigy with an extraordinary musical talent, Jacob has the unique ability to take classic songs and reimagine them in ways that feel completely fresh and exciting. At just 30 years old, he’s already won seven Grammy awards, an achievement that is nearly unheard of for someone so young. Last year, he brought his magic to the Positivus Festival, but the dynamic open-air atmosphere didn’t do justice to his full potential. Anyone who was there quickly realized this wasn’t a concert where you could check your watch and hope to catch the next act. This year, Collier will return to Latvia with a much bigger show, a full solo concert with a larger band and more production. If you missed out before, don’t make the same mistake twice!
Jacob Collier recorded his debut album, “In My Room", in the quiet of his childhood home in London. He recorded every instrument and every vocal, and arranged and produced the entire album on his own. Featuring mostly original music, this album earned him his first two Grammy awards in 2017. One of those awards was for his arrangement of the "The Flintstones" theme, a playful “a cappella” version that reimagined the original cartoon song in a whole new way. He also won for his cover of Stevie Wonder’s "You and I", where his own multi-layered vocals became the primary instrument, showing just how creative he could be with his voice.\
After touring relentlessly for two and a half years, Jacob Collier began working on his most ambitious project yet - "Djesse", a four-part, 53-song series. For this, he collaborated with dozens of musicians and even an entire orchestra. The success of these albums earned him more Grammy awards and made him the first British artist to win at least one Grammy for each of his first four albums. In 2025, Jacob set a new record by winning his seventh Grammy for his arrangement of Simon & Garfunkel’s "Bridge Over Troubled Water", featured on "Djesse Vol. 4". Jacob’s mother also played a huge role in his creative journey - she even conducted the Metropole Orkest for his most recent album and performed violin on the first volume of "Djesse".
Listening to Jacob Collier’s voice, it’s easy to assume he’s using “autotune” to achieve such perfect harmonies, but that’s not the case. Everything you hear is the result of his natural voice or effects that he adjusts manually, not relying on automated pitch correction. Jacob is also known for performing in “Crocs” on stage, saying they’re much more comfortable than traditional shoes. All geniuses are perfectly simple. But only if you're Jacob Collier, of course.
