This winter, audiences will be delighted by the spectacular and breathtaking ice show "Thumbelina."
In December, audiences will be treated to the new world-class ice show "Thumbelina," featuring new and dazzling costumes, original music, and the voices of Thumbelina and other fairytale characters, along with special effects.
The show is based on the story of "Thumbelina" by the renowned Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, and the creators promise a fusion of the magic of the classic fairy tale with the artistic and athletic discipline of figure skating, creating a performance that will captivate both children and adults.
The producers of the show explain: "This is a special project, designed for anyone who wants to experience the magic of a classic fairy tale in a brand-new form. Our team has crafted a high-quality production featuring both local and international figure skating professionals. The ice show “Thumbelina” is a story of courage, love, and adventure - emotions that every audience member will feel. It’s no wonder that generations worldwide have grown up with this fairy tale."
The show promises to be visually stunning, with excellent musical accompaniment, vibrant costumes and lighting, and various special effects. The audience can expect breathtaking acrobatic elements that will enhance Thumbelina's adventurous journey from the world of a small, fragile girl to triumph over life's challenges. The ice show offers not only exceptional artistic performance but also a heartfelt message of friendship, compassion, and inner strength that will resonate with viewers of all ages.
In the show, Thumbelina's adventures will be brought to life on the ice by professional, talented, and brilliant figure skaters, including world and European championship laureates and Winter Olympic participants:
Diāna Ņikitina is a multiple international competition winner, Latvian champion in singles figure skating, and has competed in both the World and European Championships as well as the Winter Olympics held in South Korea in 2018.
Aleksandrs Jakušins is an international-class master of sport and laureate of international competitions. He has participated in World and European Championships and has been part of the world-famous ice shows "Disney on Ice" and "Kings on Ice."
