May 5‒6 at Kipsala International Exhibition Center
His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama will give his first ever teachings in the Baltic States on wisdom and compassion– the two main aspects of the Buddhist spiritual path.
«Just like a bird relying on its two wings is flying freely across an open sky, a practitioner is ascending the spiritual path relying on wisdom and compassion», ‒ often says His Holiness quoting great Buddhist thinkers of the past.
The spiritual leader will teach the fundamentals of Buddhist philosophy based on two classical texts – the Heart Sutra and 37 Practices of Bodhisattvas by Gyalsey Thogmey Zangpo. The teachings will be given at the numerous requests of Buddhists from the Baltic States and Russia.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this event with His Holiness the Dalai Lamа, both Buddhists and those who are simply interested in the Buddhist philosophy that harmoniously combines profound wisdom and limitless compassion.
